Okay so, Ed is one of her favorite people on Heliodor right now! She loves everyone, but Ed is ssssort of different because THEY DIED TOGETHER during the Captain Hook/Sea Witch game. She really respects Ed because he's a really smart guy and he just... gets her way of thinking!? It's nice because a lot of people wtf at her for how she thinks at times. Also, in general, Marine just really loves Ed because he's easy to talk to and they can punch each other and argue with each other and it's no big deal really. Unless Ed punches her with his automail arm. Then there might be an issue. Ed is... actually kind of like a big brother to her!

BUT YEAH for the most part it is a very solid and positive relationship and Marine loves Ed and she will dickpunch things for him anytime.

REVERSE?

Marine is probably one of the people on Heliodor Ed feels closest too, as well! Mostly because of the dying together in solidarity ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAH thing they did in Sea Witch/Hook game. Strangely enough though that game also made him want to protect her more too, so he'll be doing his best to make sure she doesn't die again (though with Heliodor's bad stretch of luck in games he'll probably be extending that to everyone too). Beyond that, he admires her spunk and energy-- it really resonates with him-- and the friendly punches also remind him of home. He likes her a lot as a teammate and a friend and will definitely go out of his way to protect her now.

But for a more tl;dr version of her team feels. . . gosh. Marine adores Heliodor. She adores every new person and every old person a lot because her heart is huge. They are her team!! And that is why people leaving always feel like a gutpunch to her. No matter who it is on Heliodor, if they leave, she will be angry because that means the stupid darkness tried to get another teammate and that is absolutely not cool. OUR TURNOVER. It makes her more determined to find a way to punch the darkness in the face until it's safe for the booked Heliodors to come back and then they can all live together as a massive team and enjoy giant Heliopiles. :(

She is super protective of them and she will punch things for them!! And she feels like she is very much in a protective situation anyway due to the lack of fighting skills (so far) in a lot of the newer Heliodors. Until they get them back she will protect them!! Because that's what magical girls do and what Marine would do anyway.

Also, she knows that the team is loud and abrasive and it might appear to be a team full of jerks to a lot of other people, but she knows that each of them are people that she can trust and she knows that all of their arguing and teasing is just a sign of affection in the end, even if it's not something other people will completely understand.

There is so much Heliodere there is no way to possibly stop it.

Zimmy is wonderful and WHILE IT IS SAD THAT A TEAMMATE LEFT, she thinks Zimmy fits in well with the team!! And that is very important. Also Zimmy took the name that Marine suggested and that is always a good thing. :B

BASICALLY Marine loves Zimmy and wants to get to know her better because yayyy cute new teammate that she can get along with. '^' Also she gets points for saying that she'll back Marine up in a fight.

REVERSE?

Zimmy really likes Marine a lot. She feels the most comfortable with her out of everyone in Heliodor, because while everyone was really nice and welcoming, Marine was just immediately friendly and talkative and Zimmy just kind of gravitated toward her! Also Marine helped her get a good name, which she appreciates. She's really happy that they are on the same team and hopes they'll be really good friends.

Tavros on C.C. go.

There has not really been a lot of change since last timeeee although we did have a couple of pretty significant threads after the latest Jabberwock game. Because of those threads, C.C. is pretty solidly a parent in his mind now! I mean, she's always kind of held that role for him, but it hasn't really been solid until the subjects came up. It's pretty important to note that he does not actually know how to handle it properly though because parent is so different from lusus. C.C. doesn't seem to need things from him like a lusus does! It's odd, but it's not really a bad odd. He'll probably ask C.C. if she really needs anything from him at some point that's not just the usual pizza thing.

Also, she was really cool about the whole OH YEAH I MIGHT BE DEAD AT HOME conversation and C.C. managed to pull him out of his depressed funk a bit after the Sea Witch and Captain Hook game. :|a

Aside from that, he still loves C.C., she's still one of his pillars, etc.

Reeeverse? Has anything changed at all? :|a

Uhh, not too much has changed here either! C.C. has always cared for Tavros, but he keeps curb-stomping on her pings. So, she ends up showing a lot more of another side that she generally doesn't like to let out with him. He is special, and he is a favorite, and everyone else can frankly suck it in her mind. She will spoil him . . . While keeping a mental eye on herself and throwing massive amounts of tsun in his direction to compensate for so much dere. Also, she was firmly holding onto him as not becoming one of the children that would grow up, nor so quickly, so she is a little unsure with the new line that he's taking, but she won't frustrate him on that point. If he wants to take on responsibility, then she will change her tack with him albeit it would take more for her to treat him differently than the rest of Ruby . . . She was banking on them growing up . . .

IT'S CHRISTMAS. Come up with presents for the whole team, Tavros.

Duckling loves Daisy and she is one of his favorites in Aather because SHE ACCEPTS HIM and he likes that. :B She is one of the few people that he will willingly approach without any shyness as well, actually.

HE LIKES IT but only if Rose likes it too!! To be honest he mostly just tried to shooshpap her because she was so angry and he felt really pale then for her so SHOOSHPAP and then it turned out it was the right thing to do. Also during that whole conversation he was reflecting on the relationship and it was just MAN THIS SHIT IS SO PALE.

So yeah.

DAISY LOVES DUCKLING SO IT'S MUTUAL....

SHE....DOESN'T REALLY GET IT. But she wants to try! She isn't adverse to the idea, just being human she can't really wrap her mind around having four different romantic quadrants, because that's crazy who does that, four different people? Crazy.

But she likes tavros so as long as they get to hold hands it's okay.

Tavros on Karkat!

Tavros likes Karkat. He's always kind of liked Karkat!! . . . Minus the bad feelings his first memory gave him because his very first memory was STOP PLAYING GAMES FOR GIRLS YOU ASSHOLE after the cliff incident. Later memories proved that while Karkat was grumpy he really wasn't a bad guy so he got rid of those bad thoughts due to that. :|a Karkat is probably one of his closer friends in Aather really, and there is a lot of trust there. Also, he knows they are the last of twelve trolls so THERE IS SOMETHING that only happens when you're the last of your species.

Also Marine . . . doesn't intensely like Karkat, but she doesn't dislike him either even if his view on the impossible is completely different from hers, since her viewpoint comes from a show that slammed together Gurren Lagann and Sailor Moon. I wouldn't say she's neutral on him or anything, buuuut he's ... there. He honestly benefits from the fact that arguing is a sign of affection with Heliodor.

Reverse for both?

Okay! On Tavros, Tavros is a troll he doesn't think he was particularly close to back home. But he's definitely his closest friend in Aather pretty much because he doesn't really have many people he considers friends! And because he's the only troll and one of his only friends, Tavros' opinion of him is much more important to him than it was in canon. Tavros talking like he's kind of a douchebag? Hurts his feelings even though he knows he is kind of a douchebag and doesn't even really dislike that about himself.

But he feels more confident now that Tavros considers him a friend and he's enjoying having him around. He's less obsessed with being a troll badass in Aather, he doesn't know Tavros is kind of a shitty troll, and Tavros is more confident, so Tavros' gentleness and passiveness doesn't bother him, and he likes that Tavros is such a nice guy.

Marine! Haha arguing is a sign of affection for him too. He likes her? He admires her personality; it would be irritating if she weren't kind of steamrolling him about it, but he generally respects people who push back against him. He likes her enough to come start a conversation even if he did wind up getting mad at her and calling her an idiot because he's Karkat. On the other hand yeah her "we'll just do it if we try!" is a punch right in the sensitive manpain gland possessed by every Homestuck knight. He always tries ridiculously hard and he always takes it really hard when he fails so he resents the idea. But he's really just being a dumb kid, there aren't any hard feelings there about anyone besides himself.

How's Tavros doing with thiiiiings?

Better. It's kind of surprising! But it's nice, too. The two trauma games, one right after the other, completely wrecked him mentally. However, immediately after, Ruby was there and there were proper Rubypiles and talks and ... it helped a lot!? He still has a ton of guilt over what happened in the Hook/Sea Witch game even though he made up with Dave after, but... it's at a tolerable level and one that isn't making him be a depressed lump all the time. It's at a level he can hide better. '-'a Ruby and his friends are a big reason why he started doing better because they were there and he could work on his mental stability with them. The ladder didn't get suddenly yanked out from under him as he worked things out!!

Also Naha Nahaing along made him pull things together a bit because he had to stand up to him and keep him from hurting more people. :x He didn't want more people hurt at the time.

. . . And even though he's glad he stood up to Naha he feels really really bad because Naha still got hurt and that is completely not what he intended. Even though Naha said it was okay he still feels really bad. :( Guilt guilt guilt guilt.

How is Naha doing? A lot of stuff happened recently. '^'

Sooooo much happening. But Naha's better than she could be and recovering. The two trauma games like that, and Ruby and TE both dying in the wolf game... It's all been really dramatic.

But, I feel like Ruby really handled things well. Naha is impressed by Ash and Tavros' growth, and cares about Ruby a great deal. And things worked out welllll I think? I am generally happy with how things played out IC, and Naha... is hurt, but okay with how things turned out too?

idk, it's just. I love everything that's happened, and IC, Naha is in a good place to recover now. :|b

So how do Marine and Tavros balance each other out?

Marine~

Hiccup is a teammate and therefore an AWESOME DUDE. He also hits a lot of her must protect!!1!1! pings by ... being himself. She wants to get to know him better and there is plenty of time to do that because they're on the same team. It is a very positive relationship though and positive relationships are always good.

Also stop hiding things Hiccup. Does Marine need to get extra pushy and nosy on him? Because she will.

SUPER LATE REVERSE.

She is Heliodor and he's been imprinting pretty heavy on Heliodor. Marine is obviously cheerful and energetic and he does like that! He wants people to be happy, it's a good thing. She's also very affectionate. Which...while it makes him feel INCREDIBLY AWKWARD, it also makes him really happy. Because affection starved. But she's also bright and cheerful (and kind of cute) so overall Rider really likes her.

She's also a big part why Rider decided Heliodor is just always going to be affectionate. And how it'd be weird if they WEREN'T. Because she hugs a lot.

...of course Rider also questions when he gets nice things so he's still subconsciously waiting for her rejection for whatever reason. Rider is a totally healthy and sane individual when it comes to relationships. /o\ But he'd think it's more his fault than hers.

Anything new for Tavros and Zuko?

Not really! Their relationship is still very solid and while they are incredibly awkward bros, they are bros and that is very important. :|a The Jabberwock game did increase the amount of trust that he has in Zuko though, so now it's just. He trusts Zuko with his life. '^'a HE ALREADY TRUSTED ZUKO A LOT THOUGH, so. Yeah. Uh. . . also Zuko was a very stabilizing factor for him in that game because if Zuko hadn't been there he would've checked out and pulled a SLEEP THROUGH THE GAME BECAUSE NOPE I CAN'T HANDLE THIS thing.

Any changes on Zuko's end at all?

Anything forrrr Apple and Tavros? Also should they attempt to talk to monsters at some point y/n
